MT. ROYAL ROCKER by GAT CREEK
Once again, our good friends at Gat Creek have provided us with another beautiful rocker. We’re thrilled to bring back this popular prize and give you all another opportunity to win this beautiful piece.
In 1896, when train travel was a core element of American life, the B&O Railroad opened its new “uptown” station in Baltimore. Designed by renowned architects Baldwin & Pennington, the Mt. Royal Station serviced passengers traveling the famous B&O Belt Line. It featured grandiose ceilings, both “general” and “ladies” waiting rooms, a restaurant and several comfortable rocking chairs. The Mt. Royal Rocker is a careful reproduction of these popular chairs made under license of the B&O Railroad Museum.
